Vaccinations are crucial to your pet’s health. Some of the most serious diseases, which can be fatal, can be prevented by simple vaccination. We believe in tailoring your pet’s vaccinations to their individual lifestyles. Rabies is the vaccine required by law, but other vaccinations will be discussed during the visit.

What types of vaccinations do you offer for adult dogs?

The standard, or core, vaccines are Rabies and the Distemper-Adenovirus-Parvovirus combination. These are considered essential for your pet’s health. Additional (non-core) vaccinations include coverage for Bordetella (kennel cough), Leptospirosis, and Lyme diseases.

Is there a schedule for how often to vaccinate a dog?

After the initial series of vaccines, the core vaccines are valid for a 3-year period. The non-core vaccinations are considered to be annual vaccines being done yearly. Again, not all pets need the additional vaccines, and we can choose how to protect your pet with your guidance best.
